Mono Developer Support from Novell
From Mono
For fast response to specific issues, developers can take advantage of the Mono Kickstart program which provides developer support to organizations using Mono for new application development or migrations. Priced at $12,995, Mono Kickstart includes 25 developer support incidents related to the Mono runtime, APIs and tools.
A Service Request is defined as assistance with one issue, problem, or question relating to the use of a supported component of Mono regardless of the number of communications required. A single Service Request is a problem that cannot be broken down into subordinate problems. If a problem consists of subordinate problems, each is considered a separate Service Request.
You may register a bug report without speaking to a support engineer. However, if you want to speak to a support engineer, a Service Request is required. If your issue is an unreported Novell Software defect, you will not be charged for the Service Request. If this software defect was already reported and logged in our defect tracking system , it will be considered a Service Request.
At this time, supported components include:
- the Mono runtime on supported platforms
- the Mono C# compiler (mcs)
- the Mono compatibility assemblies (excluding System.EnterpriseServices and Microsoft.Win32)
- Gtk# and associated assemblies
- mod_mono & xsp
